Pioneers and Venturers

The Pioneer and Venturer groups both start at 7:30pm on a Friday evening, usually at Liss Triangle Centre. Pioneers is for those still in Primary school and ends at 9:00pm whilst Venturers is for those at Secondary school and ends at 10:00pm. |

Both groups mix and, on a typical evening in the hall, all have access to the same facilities which include: Table Tennis, Snooker, Pool, Air Hockey, Table Football, Trampolines, Juggling equipment, Hula Hoops, Dance Mats, Computer Games (2 PlayStations, a PlayStation 2, 2 Nintendo 64's and an X-Box), Music, Karaoke, Movies, Internet Access and a Tuck Shop. There is also a craft each week. |
| Once or twice a term there are extra events. Sometimes we bring in a Basketball Coach or a Bouncy Castle. We also organise trips out. Some of our favourites are: To Gosport via Train and Ferry for Fish & Chips; To Playzone in Portsmouth; Or a swimming trip to either the Taro centre or the outdoor pool in Petersfield. |

Several evenings a year are spent at Fernhill Allotments. These allotments had been unused for a long time and the council rent them to us for our sole use. They needed a lot of work to clear them of weeds and bracken but now make a great setting for Barbeques, Wide Games, Treasure Hunts, Campfires, Football, Woodwork (yes, we do sometimes make things out of wood!) and lots of other things. |
