This week we are down Riverside Walk…

This week sees the return of one of Ron’s walks along the riverside whereby the children get to participate in a wacky quiz with even wackier answers.

We’re going to do the walk as one group so the session will start at 6.30pm for all children at The Triangle Centre. We’ll be leaving the centre at about 6.40pm so please do turn up promptly.

For any child that attempts the quiz and manages to get a few answers right they’ll be a prize of an Easter egg. So that we really promote healthy eating, we’ll be picking up some bags of chips to devour as well as the chocolate.

Ron’s walks are always good fun and sometimes educational. It may be worth wearing wellies or good footwear as we always seem to find the muddy bits.

This week….we are off to the cinema…

Apologies for the late notice on this one but Port Solent Cinema only release what movies will be shown on a Friday evening on Monday of the same week. I’ve just got back from pleading with them to let me have the information!

On Friday night, Liss Woodcraft Folk will be going to see the Lego Movie. It’s been a hit throughout America and the reviews in all the media have been positive so far in the UK.

Please click on the link below to go to the Lego Movie Official website if you’d like more information.

http://www.thelegomovie.com/

If your child would like to go the cost will be £7 / ticket. As always if your child would like to bring a friend that would be great. If you would like to accompany your child we can also provide adult tickets at £7/head. Feel free to provide your child with a little pocket money for sweets and a drink if you wish.

The film starts at 6pm so please aim to drop off your child ten minutes before. Picking up time should be just before 8pm as the film lasts 100 minutes.

I really need to confirm numbers with the cinema on Wednesday evening so that we can all be seated together. If you would like your child to attend please send me an e-mail as soon as possible.

Bowling this week….

This week we’ll be going Bowling down at Bedhampton in Havant. Bowling is always enjoyed by the children and I always get requests to make sure it’s on the Woodcraft programme.

I’ve promised the folk who run the centre that I’ll pop in Wednesday evening and confirm numbers so that we can finalise the number of lanes we need.

The cost for Woodcraft members is £6 for the evening. That covers two games and shoe hire. If your child would like to bring a friend they would be very welcome but the cost to non members will be £7.

More details below.

Could you e-mail me back by Wednesday evening so that I can confirm numbers please.
